Ubique Minerals is a Canadian junior mining company based in Toronto, Ontario. Our mandate is the acquisition and exploration of properties that have a high potential of producing economic gold and/or base metal deposits. Ubique is focused on further exploring and developing our Great Northern Peninsula Project (GNP) Daniel's Harbour / Round Pond, our Unknown Brook gold and silver property (NI- 43-101) and our Buchans Wileys base metal property, all strategically situated in Newfoundland, Canada.

The Great Northern Peninsula Project (GNP) Daniel's Harbour / Round Pond project is located on the Great Northern Peninsula in northwestern Newfoundland. The GNP and surrounding area, host to numerous zinc sulphide prospects, are underlain by prospective carbonate rocks of the Early to early Middle Ordovician St. George Group The project is comprised of two properties, Daniels Harbour and Round Pond, and covers an area prospective for carbonate-hosted, Mississippi Valley Type (MVT) zinc deposits, akin to the former Newfoundland Zinc Mine.

Approximately seven million tonnes averaging 7.8% zinc was mined from the Daniels Harbour mine located on the Daniels Harbour property. Within the Round Pond property, in 1982, an uncategorized resource estimate of approximately 400,000 tons at a grade of 2% zinc for the Round Pond prospect Read Full Summary

Ubique Minerals acquires 6 more contiguous claims at Buchans Wiley's to include drill hole # 2944 to increase total land position to 72 claims.

Hole 2944 intersected 147 feet of mineralized fragmentary rocks from 520 to 667 feet. This has been termed the Clench Brook Zone (Fig. 2). The units show moderate to strong quartz and/or sericite and/or chlorite alteration and carry strongly altered clasts. The upper 36 feet (520-556 ft) carry 10-15% pyrite as fine disseminations in the matrix. Barite is also present locally. The matrix sulphides mostly appear to be transported and one small (3 x 10 mm) chalcopyrite -pyrite clast is evident. Download the Drill Hole 2944 PDF
